#16. Orange on Top - 40 ml

The song Orange above all probably originated in the late 19th century, when Queen Emma became regent of the Netherlands (1890-1898). The song remained in use after that. Especially during the Second World War, the song was sung frequently as a sign of resistance. Later, the song was often sung on Queen's Day and Prince's Day, during visits by the queen in the country, or at sports events. After the change of throne in 2013, for the first time in more than 120 years, a king was again on the throne in the Netherlands. The lyrics of the song were no longer appropriate for this, which caused the song's use to decline. Orange approaches life cheerfully and radiantly; it is the colour of creative life force and positive social contact.

Warm, spontaneous, optimistic and creative!
