Bezuidenhout is a district in The Hague's Haagse Hout borough. This district owes its name to the fact that it is located south of the Haagse Bos . There is also a district called Benoordenout, which lies on the other side of the Haagse Bos. In 1963, Bezuidenhout was the first major test area for cable television in the Netherlands.

By tilting the closed ink bottle, the neck fills with ink. Standing upright again, the marble will fall back and prevent the ink from flowing back.
This creates a reservoir of ink above the marble from which the fountain pen can easily be filled, even when the jar is almost empty
